git-extras software package provides Extra commands for git, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install git-extras
git-extras is installed in your system.
Make ensure the git-extras package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep git-extras *
You will get with git-extras package name, version, architecture and description in a table
